Econ 1101: Principles of Microeconomics (Fall 2018)

Aplia Instructions

1. The bookstore bundle comes with an Aplia access code. Do not lose the access code! You will need it to pay for Aplia.

2. There is a grace period up to Sunday, September 16, where you can register at Aplia without an access code. After this date you will need to have entered your access code in order to get access to the homework.

3. When registering at Aplia, please use your university email address. If you use an alternative email address, it makes it difficult to merge your homework grades in with your exam grades.

4. To register for Aplia:

a. Go to https://www.cengage.com/dashboard/#/course-confirmation/X36H-BNWN-VN5C/initial-course-confirmation

b. Follow the prompts to register for your Aplia course.

c. During registration you will be prompted to select your Aplia section. If you are in MWF large lectures, your Aplia section depends on your last name. Otherwise, your Aplia section is the same as your lecture number. See the table below for details.

5. After you are registered, go to your account preferences and make sure you are listed in the Central Time Zone. Sometimes Aplia puts you in a different time zone and that makes things confusing for homework due dates.
